PERSONAL PROJECTS
.	Animal Care - Thompson Education Direct (TED) course A0006; SOA in Animal Care, with selected units from the Veterinary Nurses Package. Status: 70% .... Material: Black's Veterinary Dictionary. Not included in the above course, but a great resource for any animal carer, and one of the standards in veterinary education. I have the 21st edition (2005).
		First Aid - St. John (RTO 88041) Workplace 2; 70108NT Senior First Aid, and HLTFA1A Apply Basic First Aid 24/08/2006. Status: Program complete! Comments: Outstanding! I was trained in Moonah (Hobart), Tasmania. I opted for the flexible delivery which included a training CD-Rom, studied over 3 weeks, plus one full-day practical training and assessment. The instructor was very experienced, and a current ambulance volunteer, with a wealth of long-term experience, including but not limited to, the Grafton Bus crashes and the Granville Train Disaster (my dad who at the time worked on the Water Board, also assisted in the rescue of this disaster).
Internet Projects If you have a small amount of spare time, how about joining the following internet projects.
	Open Directory Project (ODP) - Dmoz. Editing is as straight forward as checking a link works, and writing the site content. 	Open Music Project - Musicmoz. For those passionate about building a music directory dedicated to all facets of music, without the ads, and affiliates that weigh down most music directories. As with the ODP, Musicmoz is an Open Source project, and relies on the dedication of their volunteer editors. Status: Meta Editor. View my profile.
